Job Title: VMware Engineer

Job Location:

  • 1001 S DAIRY ASHFORD RD, STE 100-156, HOUSTON, TX – 77077 & unanticipated client
    locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties:

  • Determine business needs and evaluating existing network infrastructure and systems.
  • Develop and deploy customized VMware solutions.
  • Design, implement, and administer VMware virtualization environments using vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Manage and maintain virtual infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking components.
  • Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter servers.
  • Support virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments including desktop provisioning and maintenance.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions for virtual environments.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure and application requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
  • Requires five (5) years of experience in job offered, Systems Integration Specialist, Analyst or related.
  • Experience in: VMware vSphere, vSAN, VMware Aria Suite, Nutanix AOS/AHV, Cisco UCS, Dell VxRail, PowerFlex, Nutanix, HPE ProLiant/Synergy, Pure Storage, PowerShell, Python, Windows Server, Windows Desktop OS.
  • Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.

Salary:

  • $156000/Year (Full-Time)
